This is my last play for today - desperately need to go into work and get some work done arghhh - thought I would kill two birds with one stone - one card for two blog challenges. This birthday card is for the Play Date Cafe Creativity Challenge and the Card Patterns Sketch. The Play Date Cafe's colour challenges have been awesome and have kicked me out of my comfort zone on many occassions now. I love this sage green and I love the purple but havent used the colours together - so it gave me a bit of a kick to have a peek through my stash and pull out some shades of purple. Card Patterns sketch was great for me too as I had already coloured an image and it gave me just the kick to work out what to do with it - I'm really happy how I was able to use the ribbon on the sketch for Emma to sit on!
