Mojo Monday #133

Mojo Monday's sketch first threw me for a loop as I had a pre-coloured image that I have been trying to get the mojo to do something with. After a few adaptations another Mothers Day card was born - did have issues with the flocking! What do you use to make flocking stick and not go stodgy?????

Awesome photos of my nieces!

Well I have had a brilliant day today catching up with my family. My sisters belly is protruding now with my future niece or nephew and my two nieces were in fine form dancing for an appreciative audience, playing chasey with the tickle monsters ( my brother and brother in law) and searching with much delight for the eggs left by the Easter bunny. Managed to get some awesome photos which I cant wait to scrap!

JUGS - TESC - C4C: 3 Challenges - One Day

Well the day has come to an end for craft - though it has been on and off craft. I've walked the dogs, watched 4 episodes of Warehouse19, vaccumed and mopped and made 3 cards. I'm concentrating on Mother's Day Cards at the moment to sell at Scrappin Outback. These two are for Taylored Expressions Challenge #107 - I've used Prisma pencils to colour one image and Copics to colour the other - Can you tell which is which....lol

Card Patterns Sketch #57

Holidays = trolling blog challenge sites = YAY.

Well I am into the first day of the 2 week school break and I have made an Easter basket and 4 cards.....not bad seeing as I have depooped the garden (two muttleys = megapooping), got my hands dirty in my vege patch and watched '500 days of summer' which I have to say I loved and hated! Managed (hopefully) to get the Card Patterns sketch by the deadline (just)...lol... used a little Hero Arts stamp that was a gift from Karen for the card lesson I provided at her retreat last weekend! Just hoping this blog post can gt uploaded without the power going out - my front lawn was COVERED with hail about 20 minutes ago - looked like it had been snowing and the lights are flickering!

Play Date Cafe Challenge #23 Part II

Couldn't resist having another play with this colour scheme from the Play Date Cafe's blog challenge. I picked up a Hero Arts butterfly combination at the retreat last weekend and after a few attempts at colouring with the copics, finally got butterfly I was happy with. Caardvarks challenge blog want us to use lace this week and I love this lace I got as part of a Kaisercraft embellishment pack!

Over the course of the retreat weekend I was fairly productive. I knocked off 4 cards for a special etsy order on Friday night and Saturday I scrapped intently all day.

I joined 2 classes (Thanks Liz and Sharon) - I love my cousins LO - just need the perfect picture and the 10 things about me is super especially Sharons pic of me(I'll upload this one after I have the journalling finished!).

The rest of Saturday was spent scrappin my 2007 holiday to Arizona, Utah, Eastern Canada and LA. I've almost finished this album now and am ready to make way for this years holiday to Europe.

My new project is to make two Easter Baskets for my nieces Mia and Samantha... one done and one to go!

Outback Retreat

Hi all.......no posts but I have had a very busy weekend at Karen's Scrappin Outback Retreat with the other 50 lovely ladies. Sharon and Liz's classes were awesome and I will upload my LOs later


The girls on my table were heaps of fun and we stayed til late (or early) both nights and then got up early to scrap again!

Blogabella challenge

It's the first time I have entered this challenge, though I have had stampingbella stamps for quite a while now and love em.....but it was a nice simple sketch and I needed a boys birthday card and here is the result. I am waiting for my Scallop Circle nestie to arrive so at the moment am using scallop scissors to create my mats - should be here Monday or Tuesday next week *fingers crossed*
