4 Challenges in one card.....

Tiddly Inks - Just be me challenge....

When I first looked at the Tiddly Inks challenge title and thought about how I could put me into a card I was at a little loss of where to start until I decided to make it all about me and my card making - put all the things I love into one little card.....so firstly its a birthday card for a special little girl - I LOVE my nieces and I wish they had birthdays every month so I could spoil them without redress...lol Secondly I have used my favorite colour combination - teal (I LOVE teal!!!), pink and clean white. Thirdly it shows my love of super cute stamps that make you giggle and ooh and ahh to colour. Finally it's all about the elements - I love using my nestability dies to create fabulous frames; I LOVE my copics (Ive just had to order 2 more Copic Cubbies to deal with my addiction to copic markers!!) and wish there was a job that just required me to colour all day!!! I love to add stitching with my trusty Janome...I love love love bling and shine - little jewels that glint in the light and glossy elements that add dimension and gloss to a project...I love new trends (I know banners are sooo 2010...lol) and I am showing my newest shame....addiction to Collections chipboard elements my little title stack which I had to ink - very subtlely to show my final love of inking. So this card is ALL about me and my LURV of crafting!!!

Mojo Monday #174

Home at last and settled back into my craftroom - at least for a few hours a day. Reality is I have to start thinking about work and getting a few things done. But, there is still time for a little card making!

The Craft Cruise was awesome! Melissa Kennedy from Kaisercraft was our teacher on board and while at sea she had us working on some awesome layouts. We had to mail 13kg home because of all the stash we acquired so I am still awaiting the return of my layouts but once home I will post them so you can check out the awesome projects. You can check out Melissa's blogpost about the cruise here...

So last night I had a little play with the MOJO Monday sketch and made two cards...they are multipurpose cards but I wanted to have a little play with the KaiserCraft 6" Paper Pack - Hello Birdie - its all pink, green and girlie!

After a great New Years - first spent spoiling my God Daughters with a shopping spree then an evening in the pool playing Marco Polo and relaxing with a good glass (or two) of wine - I am looking forward to a Craft Cruise of Srappin with my BFF leaving from Sydney in a few days - the only issue is the packing...ARGHHHH What do you take when you are limited by what you want to drag along behind you and your weight allowance when you are flying. I am trying to keep it paired down but can I in all reality leave my cuttlebug behind......I am resigned to the cricut staying home (though I am packing my Gypsy just in case!!!) but I dont think I can scrap without my spellbinders dies....we are so spoilt with tools these days - I have got things down to just one carry on bag but still need to add a few embellishments......

Like most bloggers one of my resolutions is to be more regular with the blogging - basically to toughen up and get into my freezing study during winter to craft and blog.....we shall see...I am going to aim for at least one post a week....

This year: 4 Birthday cards
