Sweet Sunday and CR84FN Challenges

I've been experimenting a little with hand stitching this week and I am loving the texture it lends to the card. I've had a play with several shapes - 4 leaf clover, circles and I had in my mind a bright pink heart showing through a green cutout.

For this card I've used the colours from CR84FN and the sketch over at The Sweetest Thing - I love Karen's little scooter card. I printed out a heart shape and then pierced through the heart and the patterned paper underneath as well as around the outside of the circle I had cut with my circle nesties - I tried to keep the holes about 2mm apart but lets face it when they are not even you know its handcrafted....lol...I then use 3 strands of embroidery thread to straight stitch the heart and the circle border. I cut out the inner heart using a blade and then pierced and stitched the heart to make the added accent - added some cratepaper PP and a bit of bling and there it is....

Recipe
Cardstock: Coredinations and Bazzil
Paper: Cratepaper - {Paperdoll Collection}
Sentiment: Kaisercraft Rubons
Copics: no copics....*shudder - i feel the withdrawal coming on....*
Bling: Prima Say it with Crystals
