Weddings and Request............

I am a little excited today as a certain Digital Stamp company (that I love and that ROCKS!!!!) has asked me to be a guest designer on their blog...me....lol....I'm honoured, daunted, stunned but VERY excited!!! I'll keep you posted on this HUGE news.....lol....in the meantime I have been cranking out some wedding cards as super great friends of mine are getting married next month and I want to make them the perfect card and also a friend in town asked me to make her a wedding card so I want to give her some choices.....2 done today and I have copiced another cute little image from Tiddly Inks and just need to give it a card. But thought I would post the first two.

T
his
first card is not from a sketch, no colour challenge just one that evolved once I had downloaded the Gothic Wedding Couple image from Tiddly Inks - I love the addition of the Tim Holtz roses and ribbon and the piece of DP is at least 10 years old and from the days I was card making in Mandurah....about 12 years and 4 towns ago....lol...it had a nice vintage feel to go with the vintage frock the bride is wearing.

Recipe
Cardstock: Bazzil Craft Coredinations
Paper: ????????????? its been in my stash soooooo long!
Ink: Versacolour pinecone
Stamps: Tiddly Inks: happy Couple; CC Designs sentiment

Paint: Kaisercraft Antique White
Chipboard: Collections
Embossing Plate: Cuttlebug

For this next card I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch and the colours over at CR84FN this weekend. I think the pinks and chocolate make a fun wedding card and the sketch allows a real focus on the love bug image downloaded from Pink Petticoat which I found last night when I was trolling the internet for Wedding images.
